If that's the case, this is the right option for you! Working as a group fosters teamwork and allows you to understand different perspectives. Collaborate with others, whether you know them or not, in-person or virtually.
Self-Paced Tutoring
Beyond Tutoring is working hard at bringing students a variety of online lessons, practices, and more that's accessible anywhere at anytime, working around YOUR schedule. We plan to give access to in-depth videos that thoroughly explain a wide range of subjects, like SAT Reading & Writing, with individual practices, tests, notes, and videos targeted for each topic. However, we ask our community to be patient with us and let us know what subjects they would like to see covered! (COMING SOON)
S.T.E.P. Tutoring
The Student Tutoring Empowerment Program (S.T.E.P.) is a student-led initiative dedicated to providing high-quality, peer-to-peer tutoring while giving back to the San Antonio community. With a focus on professionalism, responsibility, and academic excellence, S.T.E.P. helps students thrive. What makes S.T.E.P. unique? All proceeds fund scholarships for local high school student volunteers, supporting their future education. By choosing S.T.E.P., you’re investing in both learning and the next generation of leaders! We have a mission to bring proper and efficient education to lower income families, and that's why we offer programs to keep our service widely available. More specifically, we offer our services at reduced prices for those who qualify for free/reduced lunch.

After going to college and earning her master’s degree, educating both Mathematics and English subjects, and teaching varying ages for 15 years, Angela Sloan is more than qualified to call herself an educator. Not just any educator, but a mentor who sees students as her own kids; for who they really are and what they really need. Don't believe it? She's top 5% of educators in the state of Texas.
In addition to the lengthy years of teaching, she has raised two successful kids as a single mom while battling ovarian cancer; a daughter who is a lawyer, and a son on a path of entrepreneurship. Therefore, she knows not only the difficulties and skills needed to understand students in a professional environment, but she knows all about kids and their struggles along the way.

A high school student who founded this organization to create a more caring and effective education system for young students, starting locally in San Antonio, Texas. His mission was to make this movement a global effort while also supporting his mother's battle against cancer. In the future, Landen will join you in certain online tutorials and videos, offering a student’s perspective on the topics taught by Ms. Sloan. With endless questions and detailed explanations, he will help eliminate any ambiguity and enhance student understanding.
